Topic : Class Training

All,

The entry forms for the class training at Itchenor (5th/6th March) and Blithfield (26th March) are now online.

I will be leading the coaching team at Itchenor, with further coaches to be added once numbers are confirmed.

I would really appreciate it if people can get their entries in ASAP, as it will allow me to book enough coaches dependent on the number of entries we get.

Link to the Itchenor Training here:  https://www.merlinrocket.co.uk/index.asp?pg=fixtures&eid=1132

Hopefully see you there.

Hi all,

Apologies for the lack of details until now.

The plan is to meet for a briefing on Saturday morning at 11.00. Please can you boats be rigged and ready to go before the briefing.

We are planning to do a single session on the water on both days. You will therefore need to bring some lunch/snacks that you can eat afloat.

George Yeoman, Tim Saxton and Iad Dobson are all kindly helping me with the coaching at various stages over the weekend.

The club are arranging a dinner for us all on Saturday night. The menu looks great, and I know the club have gone to a lot of effort to organise this for us, so it would be great if we could all try and attend. Could you pleaase book your dinner at the following link before you arrive: https://www.itchenorsc.co.uk/event/687463

Menu below:

Fetherblade of beef or Vegetarian root wellington, served with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.

Look forward to seeing you all at the weekend.

Christian

We have a Vegan in the crew.

Had a chat with Anna at Inchenor and shes going to ask the Chef for a Vegan dinner on Saturday night. The Vegetarian root wellington wont cut it for Vegans.

Are any more Vegan dinner requests ? Maybe call Anna and let her know?

Hey Chris,

Great work organising.

Subject to finding someone to sail with (ahem low key advert) Im keen to join you but can only do the Sunday. Is there a one day option?

Cheers

Hi all,

It was great to see so many people turn up for a challenging weekend of sailing, the coaches really enjoyed working with you and there was lots of gains made from our view!  The club also wanted to extend a thank you for being great visitors and they loved hosting us on Saturday night.

There are some photos from the weekend at following link (Cluster app):

https://cluster.co/i/VHDD2P88

you should be able to get the full resolution ones from there, more photos will be going up this evening.

I hope you all got home safe and sound. See you all zooming past us on the race course!

George
