MROA PRIVACY POLICY

The Merlin Rocket Owners’ Association (”we”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.  We are a membership organisation for people who own or have an interest in Merlin Rocket sailing dinghies.  We are very proud of our heritage as a historic dinghy class but also have a keen interest in developing the class to keep up with the latest technology advances, while keeping boats affordable.

We securely destroy all financial information once we have used it and no longer need it.

Historical archive

As the Merlin Rocket class is a historic dinghy association where each boat is unique, we try to keep track of the fate of boats.  We will keep a permanent record of boat owners (name, boat and geographic location) for archive and historical purposes.  We also keep a permanent record of important events like the National Championships, Silver Tiller and Silver Pole.  This information will be limited to names, race results and boats.
