There was also another band that played a few years back and absolutely teared cliff house down, I think it was fronted by Clive Allen?

I am hearing that SYC have booked Tom Ford for Merlin Week; first Saturday. If this is true and I think it is, I very strongly commend the event to you. Especially if like me, you find Mick the Fish, bless him, a serial murderer of songs.

Tom Ford is an exceptional blues musician. In my humble opinion he is not far off the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonnemassa and others. In another era this guy would have been a world legend, trust me.

Be there or be square. I reckon. I will be at the front. Worth the week entry fee on its own.

Graham. Salcombe.

Duff gen: the venue is in fact the Island Bar and Grill on 5th July and well worth looking in if you like your sounds. All other information holds good. Tom Ford is for the record, a Blues musician not as per the heading which is a different proposition.

The band was La Poubelle, and unfortunately I do have to say was as due to ill health the band has broken up. Clive is playing with other bands in the Plymouth area but hasn't repeated his Salcombe (and trips after north - thanks Tim!) of late.

Oh and Clive is by step brother‚?¶‚?¶‚?¶‚?¶‚?¶‚?¶...
