Whats all the ball bearings about around the poles? That just for the elastic to keep them from slopping around upwind?

Those aren't ball bearings, those are parrell beads - first used on gaff and sprit rigs in the 1850s...

Steve and Sarah were going well on Sunday, or were we going badly? Two very different races from planing reaches in the first to drifting in the second. They won both.
