Itchenor Sailing Club will be hosting our Black Tie Silver Tiller Dinner and Dance on 4th December. The band is booked, so don’t forget your dresses, bow ties and dancing shoes for the sailing party of the season. This year is going to be extra special with only 3 weeks till Christmas...

Hi all,

Itchenor SC and our Silver Tiller coordinator (Caroline Croft) have been working hard to organise an excellent Silver Tiller Dinner on the 4th December and were really keen for it to be a proper knees up as per previous years. Weve put on a band and silverware for the top 15 boats! We now need you to attend to make it a proper party! If youre planning to come to the racing or the dinner, please sign up now to help Caroline and the SC plan and to recognise all the effort put in by Caroline over the last year. And to thank our Silver Tiller sponsor, CraftInsure. Thankyou!

Hey all,

We are counting in down the days and cant wait to see you have a proper celebration for what has been an impressed everyone season all things considered.

Briefing will be around 9:15, first warning at 10:25 with 3/4 races (1 discard after 3). This should get us in aroun 4 with enough time to get ready for the evening festivities at 7.

on Sunday the plan for anyone wanting more is to sail down to CYC (Chichester which takes about 20/30 mins) to join the Frozen Toe series which is 2 races back to back starting at 10:25. Please enter online at: https://www.cyc.co.uk/events/event/dinghies-frozen-toe-series-5-6/. (Bottom of the page)

See you there,

George

Hi all,

The plan for tomorrow is still to go racing, the forecasts have been under reading the last few weekends and the harbour is nice and sheltered so we should have some epic racing conditions.

At the moment there are no merlins signed up on the cyc.co.uk entry page for the Frozen Toe series, so I am taking this as there is not an appetite for racing on the Sunday.  A reminder that you will need to enter online ideally by COP saturday and the club can organise an escort down, or we can organise a flotilla.
