Entry for the Selden Merlin Rocket National Championship 2016, hosted by Penzance Sailing Club 13 - 19 August, is now open!

In brief:
The entry fee is £180 with a 50% discount available for youth sailors (25 and under), older Merlins (3600 and older) and first time helms who have never competed before at our Nationals (as helm or crew). Before completing your entry form, you may want to look at the fleet allocation on the event website.
 
The social programme is packed full of eating, drinking, bands and fancy dress, with a great deal of emphasis placed on locally-sourced produce. Some of the activities are included in the entry fee. 

There is a boat matching service, so if you are unable to make the Champs this year and would be happy to lend your boat to a competent crew, please send an email to Tim Harridge to discuss this further. Equally, if you are a helm or crew looking for a boat then please let Tim know.

Closer to the time, we will be organising meet-up points for everyone travelling down to Penzance who might like a little company - there's no better sight than a convoy of Merlins on the road!

For those bringing friends and family along to the Champs, there is a list of links to sunny and rainy day activities in the area as well as links to accommodation providers. We highly recommend booking this as soon as possible as summer holidays in Cornwall will sell out fast.
