The third Classic Reunion Dinner is taking place at the Royal Lymington Y.C. on 26th October, which unfortunately is the same day as the Annual Dinner,although we won't be clubbing afterwards! This Reunion Dinner is for those who sailed Merlins from the 50's through to the 70's, some of whom are still at it. If anyone who qualifies wishes to attend please let me know at [email protected].
The cost of the 3 course meal is £25 and the dress code is reefers or jacket and tie. For anyone looking for accommodation there are a number of B&B's locally including Barry Dunning's establishment. Barry can be contacted at [email protected]. We hope that some more old Merlin sailors can join us for an evening of reminiscing.

Who else is going?

We currently have just over 40 people attending with past champions Tony Ruffell, Alan Warren, Barry Dunning, Derek Sheffer and John Bell as well as, amongst others, Rick Walters, Dusty Miller, Harry Shelley, Brian Saffrey Cooper and John Stokes. There is room for a few more if we know in sufficient time.
