I was very sorry to hear that Richard Winter had died. Last time I saw him, just a few years ago, he seemed to have hardly aged at all. He was one of those good eggs who could be relied on for common sense. He served on the MROA committee in the 70s and I think he was a measurer. He worked in the insurance world and was an assesor for Navigators and General. He always understood the problems if there was a Merlin claim and didnt argue about the costs of our craftsmen need to fix things. We will miss you Richard.
