Wembley SC wish to provide details of their upcoming Restricted Catergory Silver Tiller.
The event is one day only on Sunday the 24th October.
Format is the usual Wembley one of three races backc to back.
Tea and coffee included in the £20 entry fee along with an after racing meal.
First race at 1100.

Just to follow up on this everyone, all of us at Wembley are looking forward to welcoming you back on Sunday 24th October to our Silver Tiller Open Meeting. 
The first race will be at 11.30am and we will run three back to back as in previous years. Briefing at 10.45am.
The entry fee is £20 for pre-registration entries online at www.wembleysailingclub.co.uk. Entries after midnight on Saturday 23rd October will be £25 - so please register in advance. Entry for boats with a helm and crew under 25 years of age is £15.
Whats included in your entry:
- Warm welcome (as always)
- Tea & Coffee plus breakfast bap
- On the water refreshments (water and chocolate I think)
- Hot Lunch after racing (Curry - for a change; plus there will also be a vegetarian option)
- Great racing at North Londons premier dinghy racing venue!

Hi All, Please see below a message from John Green, Wembley SCs Commodore ahead of our ST on Sunday:
"Here at Wembley SC we are all looking forward to hosting the Merlin Silver Tiller Open Meeting this coming Sunday 24th October. Our team from our home Laser fleet is set up and ready to swing into action to make sure the event runs smoothly for you. Our kitchen will be cooking up a curry feast for everyone after the sailing has finished. Already we have Merlin helms and crews letting us know that they are entering the event by pre-registering.
 
In view of the rising Covid rates over the last few weeks, and to make the event happen safely, we have a small request to make which is that you take a lateral flow test before arriving to re-assure yourselves that you have not caught the infection which you may pass on to others on Sunday. This is not a requirement of entry, and we will not be asking you if you have taken the test. For our part we will sanitise surfaces before you arrive and endeavour to keep the clubhouse ventilated." I have checked with the club and obviously anyone who has pre-registered and then cannot attend due to a positive COVID test will be reimbursed their entry fee.
The current forecast is 11kts, gusting 23kts at 1pm so should be good fun! This is also a reminder to pre-register/enter to take advantage of the entry fee discount on the Wembley Sailing Club website www.wembleysailingclub.co.uk
