Now I have recovered from the journey home, just a big thank you to all involved in making the Nationals happen.  Penzance SC were excellent hosts, a friendly club, the best set start lines I can remember, good decisions on postponements, cheerful bar staff dispensing excellent local beer.
 
Thanks to Tim and Lucy for all their hard work in the planning and organising, thanks also to John Donague for coming and supplying me with the competition!

I think that it's possible that these champs have come across a little negatively, especially given the faux pas on the first day (it's amazing what the consequences of trying to be helpful can lead to.....). 

This absolutely should not be the case, everyone played a blinder for the rest of the week and that's certainly what I'll remember about last week.

Big thanks to Tim and Lucy for all their efforts as well as everyone at PSC who could not do more for us. I would hope we will be back before too long.

Really good sailing and fantastic socials. The recovery powers of the Merlin class after being so pub fit is legendary.
David is still a bit fed up he didn't win the fancy dress but thats Merlin sailing!!
