I have heard from Ben Jennings that Justin Eddy died recently whilst out cycling with friends.  He was a great enthusiast for the Merlin class sailing at Exe SC and more latterly Starcross.  Rarely near the front of the fleet he nevertheless loved the boats themselves, having treasured The Feet as well as trying more modern machines.  When we met he would always come over for a chat about the older boats and took a great interest in Gangsta's well being. A quiet and friendly man who had his own place in the wide spectrum of people who love the class.  He will be greatly missed.
