MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Year book and mag

First of all wanted to say what a great spring magazine once again..
Year book is also good apart from the error on the De May series.. Really disappointed that this is wrong and the website results were not updated, I go to all the effort of attending events etc..

Hi Rob,

I've had a look, and clearly there has been an omission, whereby the online de May results weren't updated after the final (and crucial) event of the series.  Clearly the results in the yearbook have been extracted from there, hence the error.

We do genuinely try to get the yearbook to print without any errors at all, and sadly this one has slipped through the net.

Hopefully, making the effort to attend the events means you've enjoyed the hospitality of the clubs, enjoyed some good racing against other qualifying boats, and have a trophy in pride of place on your shelf.  I haven't got a yearbook in front of me, but I am pretty sure there is a list of winners going back through the years, and we will ensure this mistake is corrected for the 2016 yearbook and you will be recorded forever more as having won in 2014.

Apologies for the error.

Fran

Hi Fran,
I love doing the events and the hospitality of the clubs, just nice to be recognised after a series even if its just the vintage boats.
The results on the website do state results so far..  Hopefully these will get updated at some point?
More frustrated as it was the first series I've won with my wife Helen crewing.
Hoping to get to some events this year but might be tricky with a new arrival this week.
