Topic : Silver Tiller question

"Latest ST results are uploaded after Hayling, but with the Sea event being held in the harbour I have a question. If a ST open is not held in the correct designated waters, should the result stand as is, or the category be amended, or not counted at all? This must have happened in the past, so got me wondering. Don't have my year book on me so not sure if in the rules. Thanks"

Is everyone in agreement that the ST rules have been correctly interpreted to bin the Sunday Hayling results? I've published the new results from Ross accordingly....

I think the Rules of the Silver Tiller Competition are clear.\r\nRule 9 says There shall be 3 categories of event\r\n(1) Sea; held on the open sea\r\n(2) Open Water: held on large inland stretches of wateror estuaries\r\n(3) Restricted Water: held on riversand on smaller inland lakes and reservoirs

"Absolutely.\r\n\r\nI'm open to suggestions as to how/whether we can make the nor flexible so that it can be either sea or open deoending on the conditions on the day\r\n\r\nI'm also waste this could create a huge amount of pain but so dies driving all that way for no sailing, or no result"
