Hi I was wondering if there was any sailing at the merlin open at Hampton, last weekend, if so are there any results

Depends how you would describe 'sailing', I'm a river sailor and even I would be more inclined to call the morning race 'drifting'... don't know about the afternoon because the morning was so 'exciting', I couldn't take anymore of it and have to leave swiftly after...

It was pretty much the worst nightmare for a race officer. Everything else was organised for a good day's sailing but the wind refused to blow. One of the pictures shows our spinnaker up and sort of filling, which it must have done for all of 3 minutes in total. There were 3 races, and a lot of "abstensions" - the balcony was pretty full all day!
