Sailing all by yourselves from the looks of it. Was it something you said or just special treatment for the top seeds?

We have 72 entries to date and are looking forward to a great week.
If you know of others who need a nudge to remind them to enter please urge them to do so to avoid disappointment.

Perhaps the thoughtful man who recently bought his girlfriend a Merlin may like to book her a holiday in Salcombe too. July 14th a particularly splendid week!

Happy Christmas
Jayne

Do we know the current number of entries as I know someone who wants to come but is yet enter.
He would rather not pay the entry fee only to find the entry limit is full.

58 boats on the SYC start line. Is the fairway going to be downsized?

I think I will be sticking some pipe lagging to my gunwhales

Andrew 3511 NOT an armour plated Winder boat

I hope the pipe lagging will be enough! I don't suppose being stuck on the third row will be a good place to be, even more reason to push on and get a good start.

Sadly that's the case. My post-race analysis of the races where I am down the pan by the 1st mark usually points to a lousy start. Not at all easy to get a good one at Salcombe and I do generally try not to be in the way of people that might actually win something.
