I have just uploaded the 2013 Entry Form to the SYC website. Our preferred method of payment is by Faster Payment please, the details of which are on the form. http://www.salcombeyc.org.uk/res/user/839_merlin-week-entry-form-2013.doc |
Apparently SYC have already got more than half the entries in ... is the entry list available to look at on line? |
On the SYC website http://www.salcombeyc.org.uk/content/racing-results/%5Emerlin-rocket%5ESharps-Doom_Bar_Merlin_Rocket_Week_2013/ |

Opps. To slow!! |
Wow I see that we are in Black flight already |
Sailing all by yourselves from the looks of it. Was it something you said or just special treatment for the top seeds? |
I dont know! but I think I will request a different flight just to see if its been fixed already! |
We have 72 entries to date and are looking forward to a great week. |
Do we know the current number of entries as I know someone who wants to come but is yet enter. |
Looks like 88 entries so far, suggest that he/she gives Jayne a ring or a PM at SYC to confirm. |
Understand that it was 98 as of last night, better contact Jayne asap! |
Just to confirm I have today recieved 99 entries for Salcombe Merlin Week 2013. The updated list does not yet show on our website due a change in our Server. |
My crew sent ours off today, just in time by the sounds of it!! :-P Entry form been sitting on my desk for ages! |
We have reached our entry limit of 108 and are now taking names on a waiting list. http://www.salcombeyc.org.uk/res/user/865_merlin-entiries-at-26th-jan.xls |
Our entry limit for Salcombe Merlin Week has been extended to 116. |
Wow, thats going to be cosy. |
58 boats on the SYC start line. Is the fairway going to be downsized? |
Or have no fairway at the start !!!! or no faiway from 5 min gun till after 1st mark |
I think I will be sticking some pipe lagging to my gunwhales |
I hope the pipe lagging will be enough! I don't suppose being stuck on the third row will be a good place to be, even more reason to push on and get a good start. |
Sadly that's the case. My post-race analysis of the races where I am down the pan by the 1st mark usually points to a lousy start. Not at all easy to get a good one at Salcombe and I do generally try not to be in the way of people that might actually win something. |
