Run over five weekends Shoreham SC's Cooler series is open to visitors and it would be great to see some more merlins for some spectacular sea sailing this autumn. http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/community/calendar/view.asp?id=2686 |

Count me in! Who else is going? David Hayes, Uncle Jon, Superfast Jellyfish?!! |
Joe is available to crew on the 4th and is keen to sail. |
Olly good idea with car sharing, as plenty of room to leave at the club during the series after Lymington ST. Alex and I will be out on the first weekend, so look forward to seeing you there. |
Latest results after races 5 and 6. Races 3 and 4 were cancelled due to excess wind, and it was hailing too!! Yesterday by contrast was more like mid summer http://www.shorehamsailing.org/Cooler_2012.pdf |
They need to sort out that handicap. PY 982 - wtf? |
982 is a harsh handicap at Brightlingsea we have to play off 994 and against a fireball that is hard work |
I have brought this up with the committee but to no avail, however it is still better than the great lakes handicapping (980) used in the big winter events, which would be fine if the other fleets were similarly handicapped! |
