Hi just wondered if anyone has or know of anyone who has got a winder lifting rudder available for sale?

Mr Winder quoted about 4-5wks delivery and around £530 IIRC when I asked them on Friday.
I'm still looking for anything (lifting) to get 'Armed Forces'on the water in the next few weeks, so if anyone has an old lifting rudder for a Tales, please let me know. Somebody must have something perhaps a bit heavy and unfashionable they're not using?

I have an old lifting rudder needs a small amount of TLC,it is also a bit heavy by merlin standards , Winder blade if the label is correct
just needs some paint and some glue to a crack /split to the trailing edge approx 70 mm long and 15mm and few chips , pics available ,off a Tales

There must be other old rudders about, it would be a shame for anyone to miss sailing because they only have a fixed blade.

We sail with a fixed rudder as I haven't got round to making a new blade for a stock we have. It's easy and it will make appreciate why balance is so important
