If it's any help I've been looking at these as a start point for a SS carbon.

thanks, that gives me tip to tip 690mm and intersection tips to mast track of 135mm, sound about right as a base setting, not wishing to get into crew weights, flat full sails etc.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BE WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a MASSIVE difference between the settings used on metal and wooden masts. If your wodden mast is bending, the prefered method is to use Diamonds (inner spreaders if it were) and then just shrouds. Hope this helps-Jon

I agree with John above. Using spreaders in the same way as a an alloy mast would not work unless you want to break the mast...I've broken two wooden masts in the last few years and that's with diamonds not spreaders!
