As Salcombe Week regulars will know, that most prestigeous of all trophies, The Thompson Paddle, has gone missing and was awarded as The Virtual Thompson Paddle last year.

We can trace a number of people who have taken it home recently - Hywel Bowen Perkins(03),Simon Blake(04), 05 and 06 winners are missing, Glen and Paul(07) and the whole fleet in 08.

Can anyone remember the winners in 05 and 06? 

If you won it in either of those years is it still taking pride of place in your trophy cabinet?

If you did win it and don't want people to know; there is an amnisty on for missing trophies and if it's left anonymously wrapped up in brown paper and sticky tape in the SYC office I promise not to evacuate the building and call the bomb squad!!!!!!

If all else fails have you got a suitable paddle you want to donate as a replacement?

A replacement may be the way forward. There have been plenty of requests for its return, so its unlikely to resurface. It would nice to award a non virtual paddle!
