Would anyone be interested in joining me to race at Chew Valley, south of Bristol and Bath in a beautiful wooden NSM4, at present with an alloy rig and good Batt sails? This will be my second season as a born again Merlin sailor and I have come to realize Dan's advice that a helm and crew need to have the same aspirations is absolute prerequisite for success even at club level. So I would like to team up with someone who will share my ambition to get Phalarope going like she should and ending up mid fleet at least rather than last as usual! 
There is racing every Sunday, though I would not expect to be out there every weekend, and a summer Wednesday night series, which is fantastic fun and breaks up the week.
