Topic : Battle of the Classes 2009

Is the Merlin Class entering a team for the Battle of the Classes 2009 at the International Boat Show? Seems a good event to shine a light on the class. Rob Wilder and Joe McLaughlin won the team prize a couple of years ago so the class should have the potential to do well.

We need a volunteer to attend. It can be hard work, and the venue/facilities are not great for competitors. However, this is very important for class publicity.

We p*ssed it in right at the end of the race (after getting past the Phantom - who won).

I'd rather not talk about it thanks!

We have one entry confirmed but we are allowed a second boat on the water and indeed a third boat on dinghy display, all free of charge,...any volunteers? You'll get three free tickets, one each for helm and crew and one for your trolley dolly.
