Looking at the webcam images there does seem to be a lot of boats with their covers still on with less than 30 min to the start! Suspect it is rather windy!

Do I see merlin trolleys on the beach and the first 1 or 2 being pulled up the beach?

You could always give the Watermark hotel a ring and ask them to swing the videocameras around a bit and set them to zoom in so we could follow the racing!!
