For those in London who fancy an evening sail and beer, this coming Monday is the first Ranelagh evening series.

Tempory membership can be purchased, club boats can be borrowed, and cheap beer can be drank in the club bar!

And for those in the SW London/Teddington area who fancy a sail and beer on a Thursday evening, the first Tamesis evening Handicap series begins next Thursday 1st May at 7.15pm followed by supper.  Summer memberships (April-October) are available if you want to stay for both series (Saga Trophy May/June, GW Smith Trophy July/August).  Great way to unwind after work and remind yourself the weekend is almost here.

If you're coming to Ranelagh Monday and want to use a club Laser or Solo (£5 hire) please let me know first. We have 4 of each. Also 2 Merlins and 2 Larks. Series membership is £20 for the 7 races.

I didn't think Ranelagh had any mid-week racing in the summer, this is news indeed. Is it handicap? I assume days and times will vary depending on tide.

We have always had mid week sailing in Summer but this is the first time we have had an Open series, (in recent times). Days and times will vary, see the schedule on Ranelagh's web pages for dates and times. July and August dates to be added shortly.
