you mean because it takes so long, or because of premature aging due to nagging?

I see it not only me, that walks over the carpet in the wrong way? I mean what more could a man want with a MAN fridge, TV, RADIO and a good looking woodern Merlin to work on. OKay I should get out more.

Have a look on eBay - yesterday there was a plastic NSM 1 (?) that needed re-decking. The last bid I saw was for £112.00 ..... it could be worth moth than that for the spars, sails and trailer!

for "moth" read "more" .... ;-(

I agree that the one on ebay looks to have pretty dreadful decks but 3112, the first NSM 1, looked the same when I bought her in May and has been rejunevated by stripping off the old coating carefully and revarnishing. She sails pretty well too. Have fun, Peter

Did you ever get a project for the winter? I have a 1969 Moon Rocket (2254) which might suit you if you (or anyone else) is interested. It's basically sound. Small amount of woodwork plus strip and varnish needed. You can email me using the link. Richard

All this talk about nagging, in our house we do our sanding together....it makes much more sense and gets it done quicker.
