Topic : Boat ID and rigging help

I am part of a Scout group in Torbay and we have recently been given an MR sail No 3275.I would be interested to know which type it is and how the rig etc should be set up so we can get it on the water and have some fun.

According to the Merlin Rocket handbook, she is called Adrenalin, is a Smokers Satisfaction Design by Phil Morrison, and was built by J. Woodward in Solihull in 1982.

Thanks Rich, any idea where I could get photos or details of the rig?

The rigging guide has a selection of photos - pick a set from a boat of a similar age to yours. I assume your mast is hog-stepped? There is no standard way to rig a Merlin of any age.

If you get a specific problem (e.g. cant see how to thread the spinny halyard) please add a comment below, and the fleet will be pleased to advise.

Hi Steve

I live just up the road in Kingsteignton and easily could pop down and have a look - drop me an email and we can sort something out.
