Hi - results from the two sets of races are on the HISC website:

The winter series is open to visitors, so anyone interested in sampling more HISC hospitality?! The club like you lot, bar takings at the nats last year were very good!

Yes, another good sail at HISC. wasn't convinced that we would get three races in on Saturday - but all credit to the race committee for achieving a good meeting.

Sunday was great - shame about the ghosting bit in the second race - but my mate Hector enjoyed the sail, and so did Roger Gilbert guesting with Mark Fuller. Well done for making these visitors to the fleet feel welcome and giving good racing.

Another snippet came my way - Craig Bond, Mirror god of long standing has got a new windybox on order and will be racing at Brightlingsea as well as some circuit stuff. It could get even tougher next season chaps!

Well done to Willy Warren, Alex Jackson, Chris Downham & Jilly Blake for pulling together the dinner - a good time had by all.

Brightlingsea could get interesting then as Miss Di Mina is up for sale due to a desire to get something faster and newer. It would make a great open venue too!

Good to see you too WFM and Willy's Fat Mate's wife! Not sure a merlin has been built to suit our combined thirty odd stone! Had a great time at the dinner and over the weekend, catching up with old adversaries. I wish i'd brought my camera on saturday, the committee boat offered excellent photo oppos. Shame the wind died on Sunday, just after we made the decision to finish on the run and not the previous weather mark!
