MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Pimms

Was it just the Pimms I had consumed last night, or was the magazine really amusing? Well done Pat, and all the contributors, it was a cracking read.

Can't believe Bob Lobby has infiltrated the magazine now as well. I do my best to kill him off, but....

Very funny and a good magazine yet again. Had a few good chortles over the bookies form guide. Can't recall if the rig tension guide was on page 3. We don't have tension measurers like that in Aberdeen - it's too cold everything would get stiff and brittl and snap off. Seriously we are sweltering here for the past 3 days at 14C and a sea fog you could slice through this morning on the way to work. I really pity all you guys having to put up with all that heat.

I am already testing out the new way to test rigging tension as demonstrated by the nice lady in the photo. Anyone else tried it yet.....

I certainly look forward to the next issue when presumably she will be demonstrating a stripping technique prior to varnishing.

Ok I can get another photo like that but I may need to instruct a photo shoot. I happen to know a photographer rather well so if I can have a quick straw poll as to whether this would be a valuable investment of class funds I'll go ahead and find source some appropriate models.

Alex you are just looking for an excuse!

Mill Bay beach would be an appropriate location, I feel
