Due to a sad and late cancellation, Beadon Farmhouse and Cottage (in Salcombe) now has accommodation available for Merlin Salcombe week. Victorian Farmhouse, all rooms with en-suite, TV, fridge etc - extremely reasonable compared to all the other places we looked at. While this sounds like a great event, I'm just not getting any time to sail at the moment so I'd rather wait until next year and in the meantime just get back in the boat again and try and remember how to sail properly.
We've withdrawn our entry to make space for someone else - who I'm sure has been deperately hoping a place will come free. Next season we'll come and do this event and join in the snakes and ladders games!
In the meantime, there's some accomodation available, that from the website and other people's comments sounds really nice. Hopefully it will get snapped up soon and then I can get my deposit back ;-)
