Anybody know what design sail number 2947 is? |
Phil Morrison design Phantom Kipper built by Shipside Marine, Nelson called Allo. |
Who the devil are Shipside Marine? and what's Nelson got to do with it? Has it got Cannons? that could be fun, but against the rules i am sure! |
I only am repeating what I read in the book but for a one armed man to build a Merlin .......!!! |
That's Nelson, the town in Lancashire, for all you southern woofta's who still think nothing but ghosts and darkness exist outside the M25......... |
I thought the 'darkness' came from Norfolk? |
No boy big wide East Anglian skys. Lots of light. |
Not a go at Norfolk old chap but 'The Darkness' copy of 70's rock 'combo' hail from your part of the big Island. Sorry my attempt at humour. |

Thanks for that Garry, just what I needed. Where did you get the info? |
I realised that Barry, but East Anglian folk can be touchy, it's all that inbreeding, though since the invention of the bicycle the gene pool has widened somewhat! It still can be 50 miles as the kiwi walks to travel 4 as the duck swims or 2 as the crow flies though. |
Ditto the Island, were not allowed to mention that word, firstly they get very worked up & secondly they can't spell it! ( thats the test!) regards Barry. |
Not called "Corkheads" for nothing! |
All that info is in the yearbook - it all comes when you join the MROA - best £25 you'll ever spend - application form on the MROA website. There are free magazines (three times a tear and you have to be a member to race in MR events anyhow. Great value. http://www.merlinrocket.co.uk/association.htm |
