MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Tideway June 18th

This coming Sunday at 11.30 you will have a chance to hone your river sailing skills in practice for the June 18th Tideway. Preliminary instructions and entry forms for that event will be available. Current forecast is for 10 MPH North Easterly

Of course it's also the first Open of the year for the Thames series and a chance to rack up some points against the Vintage Ranelagh Merlins. If we get enough old Merlins there will be a prize for the first based on the old boat handicaps in the Year Book.

Club will be open from around 9.30 with free tea and biscuits.

Is there an old boat that me and Natt can borrow in the shed, as our boats are up at Winder at the moment.

Alan,
There is a way. Join Ranelagh (£59.58 till December 31) and you can hire a club boat on Sunday for £5.

There will be forms in the Merlin magazine, due out soon, as far as I know and we'll also have them on Ranelaghs web pages before long. Hopefully will also be on Merlin stand at Dinghy Show.
