Topic : puller

Hi There

I can see why you need to have the "puller" on when the kite is up, but why do you need to let it off again then you round the bottom mark ?, what do others do ?

does one let off the lowers when off-wind, and then pull on again going up wind ?

as a beginer who just wants to get round the course dry, could I leave the puller on ?

thanks

You can leave the puller on if you want to, the only reason we let it off again is so it does not foul the jib when tacking.

You don't need to let the lowers off when going off wind, better to let the shrouds off to let the rig stand more upright. If you can make it the Bank Holiday training session at Rutland is brilliant to learn all these things. Otherwise take a look at the guides on the web site.

I very much hope so, got the accomodation booked already. Natt & Me in the new one, Mark & Ben in the refurbished Chambulls. Is the entry form up on the web yet. Must fill it in. Trying to be organised this year.

I thought I had created the form but I must have imagined it. Nothing there (yet).

Dan - please send me the details!
