Directions:Access to Chew Valley Lake is easy as we are not far from the two major motorways in the west.
The biggest and closest landmark to the lake is Bristol Airport, just off the A38.
Racing takes place at Chew on every Sunday throughout the year. During winter months the format is one morning and one afternoon race. These races have fleet starts.
During the summer the format is one morning and two afternoon races, one race being a general handicap and the other two are fleet races. Some Sundays are allocated Class race days which consist of three races, two to count for a prize on the day.
The Wednesday Evening Series runs on 18 consecutive weeks throughout the summer. It is a popular series with starts for A Handicap, B Handicap and Lasers.
In addition to the regular club racing there are open meetings held and each fleet is entitled to an open.
There are various other open meetings for the less popular classes at the club which may be granted on request. We hold a regatta and a vistors day once a year.
