Directions:
Leave the M6 at J6 and take the A38M towards the City Centre. Leave at the second exit. At the island, take the third exit and follow the dual carriageway Ring Road. Cross 2 sets of traffic lights and follow the Ring Road round 2 further islands. Go across another set of traffic lights and straight on at the next large island. At the (5th) island, take the 3rd exit into Icknield Port Road signposted 'Edgbaston Reservoir Watersports. The sailing club entrance is approx 0.25 miles on the left – just after the Centennial Centre - and there is a signpost just before it.
The Midland Sailing Club is one of the oldest and most established sailing clubs in the area, based on the 60 acres of the popular Edgbaston Reservoir just a couple of miles from Birmingham's city centre. As well as the Merlin Rocket they sail Enterprise, GP14, Laser, Solo,Topper, 'RS Feva' and Optimist plus other classes.
RYA dinghy training courses with club boats available for those who have completed training. Casual sailing at nearly all times, with racing Saturday afternoons (year-round) and Wednesday evenings (summer). A Merlin Rocket Silver Tiller Event is held at the Club which is a round of the Midland Circuit.

Shore facilities include indoor boat storage, clubhouse, bar and showers.
