So the dinghy show is over and it was a fantastic show for us. The stand was always busy, particularly yesterday morning for the book launch. Real Magic looks fantastic.
The boats both looked amazing, One Love was stroked a lot.
The mast auction has ended, the champs will be well funded, and the mast has gone to a great home in Brightlingsea. Thanks again to Selden!!
Thank you to everyone that has put in so much time and effort, particularly:
Ben Archer, Jon Turner, Richard Parslow, Dougal Henshall, David Winder, Harriet Salmon and the one person that makes our dinghy show stand happen, Paul Hollis. And everyone else that spent time on the stand enthusing about merlins.
Thanks again!

It was those two boats that really 'made' the stand; they just stood out so far from the rest of the boats in the show, most of which were nice to look at, but pretty representative of their class. I did hear 'that black merlin' being spoken of on at least a couple of other stands as I did the rounds. Seems like once again the Merlins lead in the innovation stakes - so nothing new there, then...
