Hats off to Martin, he has being the driving force behind establishing a fleet of vintage Merlins at Thames SC, I think they are up to about 14 already. Anyway, a lot of the boats are in need of repair, spare parts etc so any unrequired kit you have lying around would be very well received by the club and it's members.

I've got an old Proctor D to suit 1980 generation low bow tank wood Winder, left over from when I converted Enchantment to deck stepped carbon. Free if you want it. Could possibly bring to the Inlands / Salcombe - let me know. Could easily be cut down to suit.

Hi Guys thank for the great response, I am planning on comming to the inlands (hope its like Cookham) but I am trying to get the fleet to 25 mainly old 12s 9s smokers and nsm2 so very old, but the river series and vintage series are fantastic events and all the inland clubs should be involved. we have some more newbies to sailing comming soon and the merlin is such a great boat for inland waters I am having a ball, I have lost over 2 stone and covering skills have never been better, cant wait for Bourne End Week sorry back to Raters, but please if you anything which could, is useful, we have some great new guys and gals with limited budgets, so if you can help, thanks
