Topic : Searching a boat for lightweight crew

I am trying to get a MR design who would suit our weight (110kg) but most of the boats for sale on the dedicated page are actually already sold. As a student I am not rich. Looking for a boat around 500£, if possible in South England. Let me know if you have such a boat for me.

N°1663 and 1972, and other adverts found on Boats&Outboards. Quite despairing.

Depends where you sail, modernish boats within your budget are phantom Kippers, Ghost Riders, possibly Infidel/Hooligan, Winderbox and an NSM1

At £500 you will be buying a boat needing a bit of work, either replacing fittings, sails or painting and varnishing. If you can afford a bit more Tania 3352 is on the list. The Gnome design is flat, wide and quick-planing and would suit your weight well. 3042 has been on the list a long time, if still for sale might well take a lower offer. You are probably sailing on the Rance estuary which is wide so an open water boat like Summer Wine, Gnome, NSM1, Infidel/Hooligan would be good

You could try 3210 'Lift Off' a Rowsell NSM1. Generally a Good all rounder. I remember 'Lift Off' in the hands of Ian Ramus when he owned and sailed the boat at Bewl valley in the early 90's and she was always a fast boat. The boat is lying at Shoreham which is on the South coast, plus fits your budget of £500 and she looks in good nick from the photo albeit that isn't Shoreham boat park. I sure the owner would take a lot more images and forward them to you if you ask. So a ferry to Newhaven and a short trip down the A27 to Shoreham.

Thanks for helping but boats are sold as soon as I decide to contact their owners... I missed 3439 on ebay yesterday because of a slow connection on my computer, that's despairing!Still searching, could spend up to 700£ so if you see something for me...
