I have been clearing out the sail sheds at Thames Sailing club. We have many masts, ancient roller reefing kits. some complete with cotton sails, Jib poles various - wood and ali etc. Most of the stuff is for A Raters so bit big for a Merlin but how about a nice 45' flagpole for the front garden? There are a few Ali and wooden masts for a merlin, the wooden masts are a bit short - were they deck stepped - Dan Alsop will remember Contact me if you would like to make a contribution to the Rater Assocaition in exchange for something.

I might be interested in a spare wooden mast for my Rocket. Can you email me a contact number.

Again, I could be interested in a wooden mast for an old Martine which is being restored. It is deck stepped. If you can email a contact number or give me a call on 01926 812694.

Hmmm, I quite fancy a 45ft mast on a Merlin. If I add a trapeze too, will I be able to keep it upright?

i have just acquired 1067 as a restoration project : without spinny poles, a not very good mast, and a wrong shape rudder : any chance of any of these 3?? - peterh

i also have a Buccaneer25, of a similar age to the Merlin :: Roller Reefing sounds like a good idea for her : are any of the roller reefing "kits" big enough for her?? - peterh again
