We are currently undertaking major building works to provide extended and completely refurbished cloakroom, shower and changing facilities at the club which now regrettably will not be completed by the open meeting as we had anticipated. We have made arrangements for temporary ladies cloakroom and gentlemen's changing and cloakroom facilities at the club and the Colne Yacht Club have kindly offered the use of their showers, which is only a three minute walk away. Our main clubroom, galley and bar will be operating as normal and of course the racing will be as good as ever! The club will be open on the Friday evening for meals and liquid refreshments for weary travellers, breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday and meals and snacks throughout the weekend. We look forward to seeing you. Alice Davies Commodore Brightlingsea Sailing Club

Location of the club, view of car park / dinghy park, and location of the racing area. See here: http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=sn0yxnh2jkc2&lvl=18&dir=0&sty=b&cid=9CB8437DAFD21555!127.
The club is almost exactly 1 hour drive from Junction 28 (A12) on the M25. Follow SatNav to CO7 0GB. The launching / carpark / bar / club are all within 30 seconds of each other, with the Colne Yacht Club and their hot showers about 3 mins away (just past the Fish and Chip shop!).
The Club to racing area is anything from 10 minutes to 45 minutes - depending on the tide and wind direction / strength! http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=sn0yxnh2jkc2&lvl=18&dir=0&sty=b&cid=9CB8437DAFD21555!127

Any NOR w/ start times, etc?
Posted: 01/05/2013 12:29:28 By: Richard |
NOR in preparation and doing the rounds will post as soon as available. But Saturday start 1300, Sunday 1030 is planned
Accommodation - let me know. I gather Jon Turner was trying to get me via Rob White so he has first call on a room but we can manage at least another double, single and floor space for those that want
Tel 07710 046865
Cheers

Breezy, windy and at times "particularly fruity". 21 boats and 20 to 30 knots.
There are some photos (inc OK and Hornets) here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/95681946@N07/sets/72157633479827606/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/95681946@N07/sets/72157633479827606/

Results at link below
You should be able to find both the results for two days and just the Silver Tiller somewhere near the top of the list! Not sure how to post multiple links in one post!
