guys (and girls) i'm probably heading to my first merlin open next weekend at blithfield. 

Was thinking would be good to get some practice on the saturday, does anyone from blithfield know if the club will be open and if i can just rock up for a play/join club races?

Also if there are any kind people out there i'd really appreciate half an hour of an experienced merlin sailor to give me a hand looking at setup (with a marker pen!) as i.ve never sailed against another merlin and have no idea if my guessed setup based on speed sails guide is close or not!

There is a safety boat and general sailing but no club racing on saturdays.
