Hi everyone,
 
Ranelagh Sailing Club is looking forward to welcoming visitors to our open meeting on Sunday 7th April. This is part of the Thames Series for all merlins and also part of the vintage and classic series’. 
It is a 12.50 start and will be an upriver race in the area toward Hammersmith from Putney. 
All the usual Ranelagh attractions will be in place:
£10 entry to include teas, coffees, bacon rolls, and a hot meal after racing for helm and crew. Guests can also join the meal at a low cost. 
Parking is free in the surrounding residential streets on a Sunday. It is not recommended to leave your cars in front of the club whilst sailing. 
It is always useful to have an idea of numbers for the catering, please let me know if you’re coming or you have any questions.

Hi everyone,
 
 
It is with sadness that we’ve made the decision to cancel the Merlin open meeting on Sunday. The forecast combined with recent adverse publicity regarding the water quality in the Thames have led us to this point. 
 
We’re hoping to find a date in May/June which will be more favourable. 
 
Sorry to disappoint everyone that was looking forward to a blustery race around the Thames.
