Hi Everyone - for those who arent on the SE Whatsapp group, just a final call for Fishers Green this Sunday 7th May.
Forecast looks good, the club are ready and a large home fleet is expected. So far I know of 17 boats that are planning to attend. Its going to be great. There is no Silver Tiller event this weekend .....so what else are you going to? Come and pledge your allegience to the Merlin Rocket class!
Link to online entry, but you can also pay on the day: Fishers Entry Link
11am Start.
THEN - THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND:
Its the Allen SE Round 3 on Sunday 14th May - our first event on the waves. Remember you need at least one wavey event to qualify for the Allen SE series. Its combined with a Silver Tiller event on 13 and 14th but you can enter for Sunday 14th only for the Allen SE event if you want. I know a lot of SE Runners and Riders are doing both days.
Brighlingsea is a great club and always puts on a great event. All the usual Allen SE Series spot prizes and friendly competitive sailing on the East Coast; its going to be one of the highlights of the year and the first chance some of the SE pondies will get to test their metal over the hurdles.
£45 for the two day Silver Tiller; £25 for the Sunday Allen SE event only. ENTRY CLOSES ON FRIDAY 12TH MAY FOR BOTH
Link to online entry page where you can select the ST or the Allen SE event: Brightlingsea SC Online Entry
Any questions on either please DM me via the SE Whatsapp group.
Final reminder about the jib raffle sponsorship. HD Sails, GK Engineering and Langley Construction Consultants have generously sponsored a jib as a prize for SE competitors. To qualify you must:
- Qualify for the Allen SE Series 3 of 5 to count (one must be a wavey event - i.e. Brightlingsea or Stone)
- Attend the Prizegiving and Social at Stone SC on Saturday 14 Oct
- you get a ticket for each event you attended entered into the hat.
- bingo - you might get a new jib ready for next season!
See you all on the water.
