I am researching the history of Merlin Week to support the honours board now adorning the Salcombe Yacht Club bar. Also to redress the lamentable absence of information in the club records

All and any pre-interweb MW event reports and overall results.  
Especially any information whatever, about the first and early events post 1958. Who was there? Any photos/overall results of that event. 
Any information about the 1959 winner: P Foggo, and his so far, unidentified crew. 
Photos of any week. General shots, onshore, photos of event winners, or of prominent people; especially from the pre-digital era.
