Some mature Merlin Sailors might remember Nigel Sidebottom who sailed Merlins campaigned by Sheffield University in the early 70s (Nigel appears in a Pure Magic photo of one of the Universitys infamous Team Racing tours of merlin fleets).  Sadly Nigel passed away last Sunday after a short battle with Leukeamia.  His funeral will be at Amersham Crematorium at 10.00am on 20 May.  His wife Laida and children Michael and Emma have relayed that any of his old sailing friends would be welcome.
