MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Roy Reuter

Sadly I have heard the news that my old friend Roy Reuter died peacfully at home last weekend.

His son, Nick, who has taken on the family mantel as Commodore of Cookham Reach Sailing Club sent me this message:

Dad was an honorary life member and former commodore at Cookham Reach Sailing Club. He raced Merlin Rockets for many years mainly on the Thames at Cookham. The highlight of his sailing seasons for many years was taking part in Merlin Week at Salcombe. I often crewed for him and thoroughly enjoyed screaming planes to and from Gerston. He owned a number of Merlins over the years including a couple of vintage boats.
