RWYC is hosting it’s annual Final Fling event 17 & 18 Oct.
Played out in Plymouth Sound, 6 races over 2 days.
All in handicap racing against some of the best of the SW, this event should really be part of the Sail-juice Series. 
I know several Merlins considering it and it’d be great to welcome some more of you.
I spoke to RWYC this week and they are currently planning to run the event, but this is of course to C19 measures nearer the time. Toilets available, but no changing rooms or showers.

This year will be my 3rd with my Merlin, it is a good event in a fantastic sailing venue. I'm a local.
It would be good to see some more Merlins joining in.

Understand from the scorpion association that the final fling is to be cancelled, is that correct?

Yes - it is now showing up on the Royal Western Yacht Club website that this is “postponed”. Further reading indicates that they’re thinking about April 2021 to run it, so essentially cancelled for the time being.
