Can anyone point me in the direction of a NOR for this race or explain the format? Specifically, do we need to race on all three days?  I am trying to work out crewing.

John, many thanks.  Looks like there is a need to be there Sat-Mon to be able to qualify so we may have to think again.  Would make more sense, in my view, to run more than two races a day - I can understand the club wanting people to be at the club for three days but that is a big commitment to travel for such a short time on the water.  Especially if you have a family and the associated demands....... 

 Bourne End Week(end) is well worth travelling for, and it's fairly central for most people. There are two races a day for the Merlin Rockets and two races for the A Raters. Due to the size of the river it would be unwise to have races going on at the same time so four starts in a day is pretty full on for the race box! 
We love Bourne End Week(end) for the good river racing and great socials as well as camping in the field next to the club. I'd recommend you take your time and enjoy a good three day weekend. 
And there's lots of other activities including SUPing, drinking nice things, eating snorkers and all sorts.

I have a family and associated demands, I can promise you!

We don’t allow dinghies and raters to race together on safety grounds.  It allows less experienced dinghy racers to join in without scaring the sh1t out of them.

It used to be a whole week.  Some people have never forgiven it being shortened to just the long weekend!

Its just a brilliant (bank holiday) weekend of sailing.  One of my absolute favourites.
I can't wait! 

It's epic for all the reasons outlined above, and you need the Monday to recover from the gin party on the Sunday evening. All very family friendly too.
