We were in Salcombe over the bank holiday weekend and discovered the Lloyds bank has now closed. The ATM machine at Whitestrand ran out of cash by lunch-time on the Saturday soon followed by the one at the Fortescue..    So, if you are coming to Merlin week you might like to get your cash before you arrive. We also found a number of shops were not accepting cards payment or had a minimum payment rule.

The Fort, Loring Road Stores and Marlborough Coop have cash point machines.  A second cash point outside the KA is due before the summer hols.
