So sorry to hear that – I have not checked in to this forum for a while. I sailed with Terry at Ranelagh in the winter of '76 and for most of the early part of the next season. He and Wendy were always most accommodating – picking me up in some strange places on Sunday mornings and letting me sleep in the car all the way to whichever silver tiller event we were attending.
Just before the Nationals at Hayling, Terry pulled a hamstring. He not only loaned me the boat, he paid the entry and came along as shore support. I shall always think of him fondly.
