Topic : Help transporting Gently?

Hi All,

Gently, Merlin number 16 which is MROA owned was due to be coming to Upper Thames for the 70th celebrations tomorrow.  Unfortunately, due to completely unforeseeable circumstances, we are no longer able to get her there from Frome in Somerset.

She is on a road trailer ready to roll in Frome Somerset.

Is anyone by any chance passing on their way to Bourne End?

She was the first ever Championship winning boat in 1946 in the hands of Jack Holt and Beecher Moore, who successfully defended their title, winning again in 1947 in Gently again, and then again in 1949, before Gently won again in 1950, this time with Beecher Moore helming and Ian Proctor crewing.

We would love to have her at Bourne End for the celebrations, indeed the plan is to sail her in all of the races, weather allowing, but if not in the morning then ideally she would be there by lunchtime.

Last minute I know - any help appreciated.
