Hi
 I am looking to revamp my tired carbon boom and make it shiny again as both the boom and poles have taken a bit of a battering and need refreshing.
What's the best coating to apply to it? 
 
I have compressor and spray gun and am reasonably practiced at paint spraying but unsure what the best system to recoat the boom and poles would be. 
 
Any recommendations would be great. 
 

Hi Brian, Best person to ask is Dirty Hands bu I'm am pretty sure most people would recommend a 2 pack polyurethane yacht  varnish with good UV filter.

Two pack polyurethane is what you want really. They usually come up very nicely, no need to spray a brush works well enough.
